About the Role

The Sales Manager is a strategic revenue driver responsible for expanding IGSS market share within the assigned brands. This Sales Manager will own the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, while leveraging deep industry expertise to position IGSS as a trusted partner in the food supply chain.
The essential functions of this position are detailed below, and they may change as the needs of the company demand.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Identify and pursue high-potential clients requiring premium, compliant, or traceable food solutions.
- Negotiate long-term contracts with emphasis on margin protection and supply chain resilience.
- Monitor industry trends and adapt sales pitches accordingly.
- Collaborate with Sales Coordinators and Marketing Team to align campaigns with sales objectives and enhance brand visibility.
- Conduct monthly business reviews to address client pain points.
- Provide feedback to Production, Procurement, Warehouse and Logistic team on client needs.
- Attend training sessions to improve skills and product knowledge.
- Oversee the sales pipeline to ensure timely follow-up and conversion of leads.
- Prepare a regular sales report and forecasts with insights on risks and opportunities.
- Participate in industry events and conferences to network and promote companies’ products.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who is or has;


Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales & Marketing, or related field.


Experience:

Min. 5 years’ experience in B2B food sales with expertise in premium retail/hospitality channels, foodservice/industrial ingredient solutions, export markets, regulatory-heavy industries. Proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar role with a track record of achieving sales targets.


Skills:

o Strong understanding of sales performance metrics and CRM software

o Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills

o Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on insights

o Familiarity with the food supply chain industry is a plus

o Strong negotiation and closing skills

o Ability to work independently and as part of a team

o Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing environments

o Customer-focused mindset with a passion for achieving results

o Excellent command of English and Chinese (both spoken and written)

o Immediate available is highly preferred
